During Covid like so many other people in the world we stayed home as much as possible to prevent being exposed. Having grown tired of watching movies and reading books I decided to break out the crafts that I had stored in the garage. My son William is special needs, and we belong to a group called Community Peds Care. I thought that after 16 years it was time we gave back so I decided we would make either a wreath or centerpiece for each family in our group for the holidays. It took William and I 3 months, but we ended up with 100 pieces to donate in a ceremony at their local Hospice office. Everyone was so impressed with our creations and some even asked if they could purchase some for-family members. One thing led to another and before I knew it, I was ordering wholesale and creating for neighbors and Facebook friends which has now led to me opening my Etsy shop – https://www.etsy.com/shop/ILoveYourWreath. Let me take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Lisa Feller and from the earliest I can remember I have always been in love with colors and design. As a child in New York City, I would often go with my father to work. He was a Broadway Set Builder. I would watch with awe when the designers would take something from paper and build it right in front of me. I spent time with the Scenic Painters and the costumers. I vowed one day I would be an Interior Designer.

After a few detours along the way, I finally realized that dream of owning a Design Studio and Gift Shop near Tampa, Florida. After the birth of my son William at 40 I retired to concentrate on caring for him. He has a rare disorder that requires him to be taken care of 24/7. When Covid hit and we were forced to stay home to protect him I decided to get back into crafting.

I am the proud mother of William, in the past I owned an Italian restaurant, “The Pasta Place”, worked in retail sales and managed a furniture store. My favorite job was when I owned a decorating/gift shop for many years in Apollo Beach, Fl.
